("the Staff") and Environmental Coalition on Nuclear Power
("ECNP") cau)r into this stipulation with respect to that portion of Contention 1 in this proceeding which deals with the quantities and health effects of radon.
1.
ECNP withdraws as a contantion in this proceeding that portion of Contantion 1 which deals with the quantities and health ef fects of radon.
2.
Applicants withdraw their Motion for Summary Disposition of Contention 1 (Radon), filed gg()7 on August 7, 1981.

The Stoff will include in any operating licenses which may be issued for the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station, U..its 1 and 2, a condition that such licenses shall be subject to the final outcome, including judicialappeals,Sfthe"ConsolidatedRadon Proceeding currently pending before the Atomic Safety and Licensing Appeal Boards.
(See Philadelphia Electric Co. (Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station, Units 2 and 3), ALAB-640 (May 13, 1981).
The license con,dition would be modified in accordance with any subsequent applicable regulations which the Commission may adopt.

The continuation of the Consolidated Radon Proceeding, and any appeals therefrom, shall not preclude or delay closing of the record of the Susquehanna proceeding nor issuance of any initial, intermediate or final decision in that proceeding, nor issuance of any operating licenses for the Susquehanna steam Electric Station, Units 1 and 2. !
5.
This Stipulation shall not take effect until its approval or acceptance by the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board.
If the Licensing Board shall not accept or approve this Stipulation, thi '; portion of Contention 1 which deals with the. quantities and health effects of radon would remain as an issue in this proceeding.
