Dear Mr. Kintner:

Reference:

Enrico Fermi Atomic Power Plant, Unit 2 NRC Doci:et No. 50-341

Subject:

Operational Radiological Monitoring Program Detroit Edison has reviewed the tentative Operational Radiological Monitorlng Program with respect to the requirements of ths Branch Technical position (BTP),

Revision 1, November 1979 The program is presently in compliance with the BTP requirements in that one air ~ sampler serves two locations:

highest annual average ground level D/Q and the community having the highest D/Q.

However, Edison will add an additional air sampler in l

a location to be selected by Edison to bring the total number of samplers to five.

Edison will be conducing a land use survey in early 1982 to determine the location of milk producing animals.

Sampling will be conducted as recommended in the Branch Technical Position.

Sincerely, I
