Inspection 50-201/81-04
This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Mr. J. Roth of
this office on July 27-31, 1981 at your Reprocessing Plant located in
West Valley, New York of activities authorized by NRC License No. CSF-1
and to the discussions of our findings held by Mr. Roth with Mr. J. P.
Dur.kworth and other members of year staff at the conclusion of the
inspectior.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the Office of
Inspection and Enforcement Inspection Report which is enclosed with this
letter. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective
exarrinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with
personne;, and observations by the inspector.
Our inspector also verified the steps you had taken to correct the ita
of noncompliance brcught to your attention in a letter dated March 4,
1981. We have no further questions regarding your action at this time.
Within the scope of this inspection, no items of noncompliance were
observed.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy
of this letter and the enclosed inspection report will be 91 aced in the po7
