This letter is in response to IE Bulletiu 81-02 Supplement 1 (Log 1-536) concerning Failure of Gate Type Valves to Close Against Differential Pressure (W-EMD type).

Toledo Edison has identified that there are no W-EMD type valves installed or maintained as spares for Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Unit No. 1 (DB-1).

Toledo Edison's manpower expenditures for IE Bulletin 81-02 Supplement 1 are as follows:
