NRC Inspection This refers tc the routine safety inspection conducted by Mr. P. R. Zurakowski of this office on August 13, 1981 of activities authorized by NRC License No. 04-17976-01 and to the discussion of our findings held by Mr. Zurakowski I
with Commander M. Coyle 3nd other members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
The inspection was an examination of the activities conducted under your license as they relate to radiation safety and to compliance with the Commission's rules and regulations and the conditions of your license.
The inspection corisisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel and observations by the inspector.

Ouring tr.h inspection, it was found that certain of your activities appeared to be in noncompliance with NRC requirements. The items and references to these pertinent requirements are listed in Appendix A.
Thesa items have been categorized into severity levels described in the Federal Register Notice (45 FR 66754) dated October 7,1980.

Your response to this notice is to be submitted in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 2.201 as stated in Appendix A, Notice of Violation.
