A. E. Lundvall to T. M. Novak letter dated 8/26/81, Extended Burnup Gentlemen:
Reference (A) summarized several new application methodologies required to license the Calvert Cliffs Units for Extended Burnup.
Those application methodologies were developed by Combustion Engineering and are hereby submitted for your review and approval. We intend to reference those documents in Unit 1, Cycle 6 reload license application.
Enclosures (1) and (2) are proprietary and nonproprietary versions, respectively, of improved application methodology for fuel rod growth (SIGREEP). Enclosure (3)is the report documenting an improved method for performing clad collapse analyses.
Enclosure (4) is an affidavit from Combustion Engineering, Inc.
requesting that information in Enclosure (1) be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 2.790.
