Lperating License Nr. DPR-50 Docket No.30-289 Inadequate Core Cooling (II.F.2)
We have completed our preliminary evaluations on availzble instrumentation offered by tne various reactor instrument vendors that might be used as an enhancement to our existing Inadequate Core Cooling Instrumentation.
Based on that review, we would like to inform you of our present intent to install additional delta P type instrumentation within the system. There is consid-erable additional engineering information regarding the exact type, tie-in locations, range, control room location, etc. which has to be developed before we will be able to provide you with more specific design and schedule details. As noted in our letter of August 26, 1981 (LlL 246), we will pro-vide more detailed descriptions of our intended modifications along with the schedule for implementation in early November.
