Dear Mr. Felton:
Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act and the regulations of the Administration implementing that Act, the, undersigned hereby requests access to and copies of the docu-monts described below:
All contracts and any amendments and/or addenda thereto, between Brown and Root and the Houston Light and Power Company involving a South Texas nuclear generating station in Matogorda County, Texas.
It is my understanding that the contract or contracts pertain to the construction of two 1250 megawatt nuclear power units and that the construction permit was authorized by NRC on or about January 14, 1976.
Also, the Central Power and Light Company and the cities of San Antonio and Austin, Texa= may have been involved in connection with the aforementionn - v m.. -
To the extent that any of the records requested above are deemed to be exempt from disclosure by law, it is requested that any " reasonably segregable portion" of the records be pro-vided as required by 5 U.S.C. S 522(b).
This office stands ready to pay whatever fees may be assessed by law in connection with the granting of this request.
