6 Gentlemen:
In accordance with your application dated October 24, 1974 and supplements dated March 21,1979 and July ~1,1981, and pursuant to Title 10. Code of Federal Regulations, Part 70, Materials License No. SNM-986 is hereby amended to change the expiration date in Item 5 to August 31, 1982 and to add Items 7.H. ud 8.G. to read as follows:
7.H.
33 grams, U-235 as fission foils, clad rods and plates, 19 grams Pu-239 as neutron filters, and 4.4 milligrams Pu-242 as fission foils.
8.G.
The material specified in 7.H. shall be used in accordance with statements, representations and conditions specified in the licensee's applications and suppler,ents dated Janu-ary 13,1975, January 19, 1970, October 9, 1968. August 9.1968, January 39,1%7, August 22, 1963 August 23, 1962 December 2,1960, July 18,1958, June 25,1958 and January 22, 1958.
The addition of Canditions 7.H. and 8.G. incorporates into SNM-986 the material previously authorized by SNM-171, Docket No.70-194; accordingly SNM-171 is hereby terminated.
All other conditions of this license shall rmain the same.
The extension of the expiration date of SNM-986 to August 31, 1982, initiates action toward comLining the MIT SNM licenses. The application for renewal in 1982 should :onsolidate the activities covering all SNM, and this consolidation will be reflected in the renewed license.
