Dear Mr. Rosenberg:
This is in response to your letter' dated June 11, 1981 in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, copies of proposals submitted by NUS, Informatics, and Rehab, Inc., under contract NRC 78-580.
This confirms infonnation relayed ~ during the series of telephone conversations between Mary Ellen fiarnien and Linda Robinson concerning the scope of your request and our response.
The'following firms submitted proposals which were timely received by NRC:
1.
Informatics, Inc. (NUS Corporation shared in prepar;cion of this firm's proposal.)
2.
TERA (You obtained a copy of this firm's proposal under F01A-81-211.)
3.
Nuclear Associates International Corporation In addi U on, Rehab, Inc., submitted a proposal which was not timely received and thus n ' evaluated for purposes of the contract idard.
Staff members of the NRC Division of Contracts has informed this office that despite an exhaustive search of their files they have been unchle to locate a copy of this proposal and, therefore, assume that the proposal was returned to the offeror or destroyed in accordance with their procedures for such proposals.
During a telephone conversation on July 6, 1981,lts. Marnien agreed to accept nonproprietary versions of the requested proposals.
Copies of requested proposals submitted by Informatics, Inc., and Nuclear Associates International Corporation are enclosed.
The charge for reproducing records not located in the NRC Public Document Room is five cents ($0.05) per page, as specified in 10 CFR 9.14(b).
Accordingly, = the cost of reproducing the enclosed 358 pages is $17.90.
