ATTACHMENT Information Requested 1.
Please provide a summary table of nonradioacti' e gasecus effluents si.milar to that for radioactive effluents (Table 4-3), incl; ding sources of release and total amount of release for each effluent type.
A maximum probable amount released may be given if it is not feasible to estimate the actual amount.
2.
For Table 5-4, the nonradiological river se'diment data should be presented by site for each year (1975-1979) for comparative purposes.
3.
There appear to be discrepancies in Table 3-2 regarding the volumes of water to t'
d and released from Buildings #5 and #17 In the former, 300 more per day appear as affluents than were taken into the pl ant; i t, tatter, 200 more gallons per day.
Please clarify.
e 4
Please provide information on aquatic organisms that could be found in the site creek and Farmington River in the vicinity of the site. Have studies been conducted 'to determine if these organisms contain elevated levels of chemicals that are contained in the effluent stream?
5.
Please provide a list of state and/or federally listed rare or endangered plant, animal and aquatic species that occur in the vicinity of the site and indicate if these species could be affected by the operation of this facility.
6.
Please provide the following information (if available) on ground water:
a.
Regional flow system; significant aquifers, aquicludes.
b.
Site specific flow systems, piezometric data.
c.
Regional ground water quality and use and d.
Site soecific ground water quality and use.
7.
What is the fraction of related NO, 50, particulate from the power house 2
2 discharge stack due to the operations of Buildings #17 and #5 support services?
8.
Does Combustion Engineering use fuel Oil No. 2 for power source? What is the average concentration of the sulphur content?
9.
Please provide a general Water Balance Diagram as to the CE Fuel Fabrication Facility on an annual estimated basis as discussed in Reference Section 3.1. (CE Environmental Impact Information).
- 10. What is the overall efficiency for the plant's Sanitary Waste Water Treatment Facility as to tot,al B005 removal?

- 12. What are the estimated annual quantities and types of nonradiological solid waste as discussed in Section 4.1.67 What is the name(s) of the licensed ccmmercial disposal firm? How is nonradiological solid waste verified as containing no radioactive'mattrial cenerated from any radiological processing areas?
13.' Please provide stack information as follows for.'uildings #5 and #17 which rtlease radioactivity to the atmosphere.
a.
Stack heights and diameter, and b.
Stack effluent velocities.
