Ad As discussed earlier today with a member of your staff, our physical inventory started July 1, and must be completed by July 31.
The need has arisen to request a seven (7) day extension in the time set forth in Section 70.51(e)(4) to complete the physical inventory. The LE calculations and the booking of the ID have been delayed because of the following:
(1) sample turnaround problems are due to vendor analytical equipment problems (2) key staff unavailable due to health problems (3) indepe:. dent auditors occupying available staff time (4) NRC auditors presently at CNFP occupying availabic staff time.
The requested extensior of time will allow the physical inventory to be completed in accord with the provisions of 10 CFR 70.51.
Accordingly, a check for $150 is attached to cover the administrative licensing fee.
