Dear Sir:
A recent change in the university administration policy and support of the nuclear reactor facility is rsquiring me to request a change in previous licensing requests submitted to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
I request that you rescind proposed changes to license No. R-62 Technical Specifications in a letter and document dated May 15, 1981.
The change had requested a modification to the reactor core allowing 13-plate fuel elements and the installation of a new cooling tower and secondary cooling system. We no longer desire to implement these changes.
i I also request an amendment to reactor license R-62 renewal documen-tation dated October 2, 1979 and subsequent documents dated August 25, 1980 consisting of a complete application for a class 104 license. We l
had originally requested a power increase free 100 Kw(t) to 500 Kw(t) in conjunction with the 20 year license renewal request.
I request that you amend this original application and renew the reactor license R-62 at the 100 rw(t)- power only. We no longer desire a power increase to 500 Kw(t).
