(PSI) commitment to notify your office of organizational changes which alter the PSI organization as described in the Consolidated Description of the Marble Hill Quality Assurance Program, a summary of the latest (July, 1931) PSI Nuclear Division organizational changes has been attached for your information.

Included in this summary are title changes which will help you better understand the organizational charts.

ATTACHMENT I 1.

The title of Project Director has been changed to Executive Director Nuclear Project Management. Now reporting to this position are the Project Contract Managers, previously reporting to the Assistant Project Director, the Project Purchasing Manager, and the Assistant Project Director as shown on Figure 1-2.

The Assistant Project Director now has the Project Administration Manager, the Safety and Fire Prevention Supervisor, the Project Engineering Manager, and the Project Controls Manager reporting to him as shown in Figure 1-2A.

These positions previously reported to the Project Director.

3.

The title of Operations Director has been changed to Executive Director Nuclear Operations. The resps asibilities of the Nuclear Operations Manager have been incorporated into this position. Also, the Testing organization headed by the Test Director, previously reporting to the Project Director, now reports to the Executive Director Nuclear Operations as shown on Figure 1-3.

The title of Quality Assurance Manager has been changed to Executive Director Nuclear Quality Assurance.

5.

The position of Construction Surveillance Superintendent has been deleted and its responsibilities incorporated into the respective discipline Quality Engineering Superintendent positions. The discipline Construction Surveillance Supervisors, previously reporting to the Construction Surveillance Superintendent, now report to the respective Quality Engineering Superintendent as shown on Figure 1-4.

The position of Quality Systems Superintendent has been deleted. The Audits Supervisor and the Operations Supervisor, both previously reporting to th ^<?tity Systems Superintendent, now report directly to the Executive alrector Nuclear Quality Assurance. The position of Program Support Supervisor, previously reporting to the Quality Systems Superintendent, has been deleted but its function and responsibilities incorporated into the Quality Administration Superintendent position.

7.

The title of Quality Assurance Records Supervisor has been changed to Quality Records Verification Supervisor as shown on Figure 1-4.

The position cf Quality Assurance Administration Supervisor has been deleted but the function remains the responsibility of the Quality Administration Superintendent.

9. The position of Tracking and Trending Supervisor has been deleted. The responsibility of trending remains in the scope of the Quality Engineering Manager while the responsibility of tracking is now the responsibility of the individual organizations involved in the disposition process.

10. The position of Civil Inspection and Testing Services Supervisor has been added. He reports to the Civil Quality Engineering Superintendent and is responsible for direct supervisory control of the Civil Inspection and Testing Services Program.
