Dear Mr. O'Reilly:
This is to confirm the telephone all to Mr. Bob Martin (NRC) at 1445 on November 5, 1980 by Mr. W. G. Hairston, III (APCo) in accordance with Tech.
Spec. 3.7.11.1.b.
As a result of performing a flush on the Unit II fire header, the Fire Protection Tanks A and B volumes fell to approximately 231, 297 gallons each at 2020 on 11/4/80. Tech. Spec. 3.7.11.1.b requires a minimum volume of 250,000 gallons in each tank.
The tank volumes were returned to 250,000 gallons at 2235 on 11/4/80.
Further details will be provided in the followup report.
