SIGNIFICANT APPRAISAL FINDINGS (REPORT 50-255/80-14)
NRC letter dated Nove=ber 28, 1980, forwarded the results of the Health Physics Appraisal for the Palisades Plant conducted August k-15,1980.
Consumers Power Company letter of January 30, 1981 con =itted a broad base program to develop an upgraded, unifor: Health Physics Program for all our nuclear plants.
Consumers Power Company letter of April 7,1981 co==itted to the develop =ent of a Corporate Radioactive Safety Standard and to establish Health Physics positions in the General Office, responsible for support of each of our nuclear plant's health physics program. As of July 1,1981 these tvc con =itments have been met.
Implementation of the Corporate Radiation Safety Standard is being accomplished through the broad _ base program identified and scheduled in the Consu=ers Power Co=pany letters of January 30, 1981 and April 7, 1931.
