Dear Mr. Keppler:
This is to document our under* standing regarding the resolution of unresolved items identified in reference (a).
This issue was discussed in the Glen Ellyn NRC Office on July 31, 1981, with representatives of Commonwealth Edison, Stone and Webster, and I&E Region III.
We understand that unresolved items relating to programmatic aspects of Stone and Webster's work on Zion will be turned over to Region IV for review.
Further NRC correspondence regarding these issues will be directly with Stone and Webster and no specific follow-up actir.n is required of Commonwealth Edison at this time.
Please advise me if this understanding is not correct.
