The enclosed NRC Forn 173, " Standard Order for DOE Uork," is hereby submitted in accordance with Section III, B.2 of the DOE /NRC l'enorandun of Understanding, dated February 24, 1978.
This letter is in refer.!nce to the October 24, 1980 letter fron Brookhaven requesting aaditional funds for this project as a result of a cost overrun due to increased level of effort beyond that originally estinated, and funds for an additional task. He are providing funds in the anount of $55,000 to cover the cost overeun. We are not authorizing work on the additional task.
