Dear Mr. Kammerer:
As you my be aware, The Armed Forces Itadiobiology Research -
Inntitute (APRitI) in currently under review by the Atomic Safety and Licensing Iloard for renewal of a license to operate a nuclear research reactor on the grounds of the National Naval Medical Center, in Bethesda, Maryland.
A number of my constituents have become increaningly concerned about the reactor, most recently because of a reported accident at APRiti and because the-operating
-license la being considered for renewal.
One of my constituents h a inquired about the proceduren employed by the Atomic Safety and Licensing !!oard.
Who will be preparing the NRC staff report on thin facility?
In there a specific " project manager"?
What in that individual's name and what are his or her qualifications?
