Gentlemen:
Millstone Nuclear Power Station, Unit No. 3 Request for an Extension of Time to Respond to ISE Bulletin No. 81-02 Reference (1) transmitted the subject IE Bulletin to Northeast Nuclear Energy Company (NNECO) requesting appropriate action within 90 days.
Because we are currently waiting for information from Westinghouse concerning the Westinghouse EMD valves cited in your bulletin, an extension of time to respond has been requested. On July 13, 1981 a call was placed to your Mr. John McCann, by Mr. J. M. Powers, reques*.-
ing an extension until August 15, 1981.
Mr. McCann stated be would inform your Mr. D. Caphton of the extension request.
