This is in response to Generic Letter 81-01, Qualification of Inspection, Examination, and Testing and Audit Personnel, dated May 4,1981.
The Public Service Company of Indiana, Inc. (PSI) Project Quality Assurance Manual (PQAM) presently commits to ANSI /ASME N45.2.23-1978 and ir.cludes qualification of all audit personnel. The PQAM further commits to ANSI N45.2, N45.2.9, and N45.2.10 as identified in paracraph c.) of Regulatory Guide 1.146.
PSI's Project Quality Assurance Department has conducted a correlative evaluation of ANSI N45.2.6-1973 and ANSI N45.2.6-19 78 and determined that PSI's qualification program presently meets the requirements of ANSI N4 5. 2. 6-19 7 8.
Revision 8 of the PQAM reflects PSI's commitment to Regulatory Guide 1.58 Revision 1 (9 /80) and ANSI N4 5. 2.6-19 78 as recommended by Generic Letter 81-01.
