Dear Mr. Ziem nn:
Your letter of February 24, 1975 requested a description of any stress analyses performed which were in excess of the minim 4m con-struction code requirements be provided to the Regulatory staff. In addition, you also requested that Consumers Power Company describe the type of nondestructive testing performed on plate and forging material prior to installation in the vessel, veld preps prior to welding, and welds.
To fulfill this request, we are attaching a copy of Amendment No 8, " Consumers Power Company's Application for Reactor Construction Per-mit and Operating License," Docket No 50-155, dated March 23, W 2, and an excerpt frcu Amendment No 10, " Consumers Power Company's Application for Reactor Construction Permit and Operating License," Docket No 50-l M,
dated May 3,1%2. These amendments constitute the information on this subject that is readily available to Consumers Power Company. We be-lieve they adequately cover the information requested. We understand, based on conversations with a member of your staff, that your staff has been unable to locate this information.
