Transmitted are three (3) executed and thirty-seven (37) conformed copies of a Request for Change to the Technical Specifications of License DPR-6, Docket 50-155, issued to Consumers Power Company on May 1, 196h for the Big Rock Point Plant.
This proposed change revises certain administration require-ments such that they will be consistent with receilt changes in the plant organization.

CONSUMERS POWER COMPANY Docket No 50-155 Request for Change to the Technical Specifications Change No 40 License No DPR-6 For the reasons set forth in the cover letter and its attach-ments, the following changes to the Technical Specifications of License No DPR-6 issued to Consumers Power Company on May 1,1964, for the Big Rock Point Plant, are requested:
A.
Change Section 7 2.2.1.2.a(1)(a)(vii) to read as follows:
"(vii) Any changes in the plant operating organization which involve positions which are designated as key super-visory personnel consisting of the following: Plant Superintendent, Operations Engineer, Technical Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, QA Engineer, Maintenance Super-visor, Instrument and Control Supervisor, Reactor Engineer, and Chem and Radiation Protection Supervisor."
B.
Change Section 7 2.h(b) to read as follows:
"(b) The Plant Superintendent or his designated alternate shall be notified immediately of all reactor scrams and shall approve subsequent start-ups. Start-up of the reactor following a scram shall not proceed until the cause of the scram has been determined and the necessary corrective action taken. The evaluation and approval of the Consumers Power Company General Office shall be required for all start-ups following an unex-plained scram."
II.
Discussion: As of July 1,1973, the plant organization was changed.
These changes were made to make the plant organization more respon-sive to present-day operating requirements. The new organization

is shown in the attached figure. The changes involved eliminating the Assistant Plant Superintendent position, and adding the positions of Operations Engineer and Maintenance Engineer. Now, the Operations, Maintenance and Technical Engineers all report.
directly to the Plant Superintendent as does the Quality Assurance
