Dear Mr. Scroggins:

This letter is to inform you that we officially request an extension of the time to pay the fees required by your invoice no. AT-0442-93 (Docket No. 050-00059). An extension will allow us to accumulate the information necessary tojustify our request for an exemption from the iicensing fees. I indicated in an earlier letter to you (July 28, 1993) that we would file for such an exemption.

The AGN-20lM is used by our department for educational purposes only. We use it as a tool in our undergraduate and graduate laboratories in nuclear engineering. It is a vital part of our laboratory equipment in nuclear engineering. In addition, the reactor plays a role in our Science Teacher weekends and all the other activities associated with science and engineering at the junior and senior high school levels held here on campus.
