The Southern Nuclear Operating Company (Southern Nuclear) Board of Directors has named James H. Miller, III as Vice President and Corporate Counsel, effective May 1, t 994. He will also be responsible for the governmental afTairs function of Southern Naclear. In this role, Mr. Miller will be reporting to Mr. W. G. Hairston, III, President and Chief Executive Officer of Southern Nuclear. Mr. Miller is a member of the American Bar Association, the Federal Energy Bar, and the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association.
Prior to joining Southern Nuclear, Mr. Miller was a partner in the firm of Balch &
Diagham and worked principally in the fields of nuclear power and electric energy law.
