E.) closed is a copy of the final exercise report for the June 24, 1992, exercise of the of fsite radiological emergency response plans for the State of Illinois and affected local jurisdictions site-specific to the LaSalle Nuclear Power Station.

The State of Illinois partially participated and Grundy and LaSalle Counties fully participated in the exercise.

The enclosed report was prepared by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Region V staff and copies will be forwarded to the State of Illinois.

There were no Deficiencies identified during the June 24,

1992, exercise.

There were, however, elev3n Areas Requiring Corrective Action (ARCA) identified.

Region V staff will coordinate with the i

State of Illinois to correct the ARCAs on or before the next

.I scheduled biennial exercise.

Based on the results of the June 24, 1992, exercise, the offsite radiological emergency response plans and preparedness for the j

State of Illinois and the affected local jurisdictions site-specific to the LaSalle Nuclear Power Statica can be implemented and are adequate to provide reasonable assurance that apprcpriate measures can be taken offsite to protect the health and safety of the public in the event of a radiological emergency at the site.

Therefore, the Title 44 CFR, Part 350, approval of the Illinois offsite radiologi al emergency response plans and preparedness site-specific to LaSalle Nuclear Power Station granted on June 4, 1982, will remain in effect.
