Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station, Units 2 and 3 Technical Specification Change Request (TSCR) 92-21
Dear Sir:
By letter dated May 28, 1993, the NRC issued Amendment Nos.
175 and 178 to Facility Operating License 1 sos. DPR-44 and DPR-56 for Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station (PBAPS), Units 2 and 3.
The amendments consisted of changes to the Technical Specifications (TS) as proposed by Philadelphia Electric
_ Company's (PECo's) letter dated February 5, 1993.
The amendments revise TS Section 5.5.D concerning fuel storage criteria and allow the use of the maximum k-infinity method of demonstrating compliance with fuel storage criticality limits, replacing the U-235 loading / enrichment method.
In the May 28, 1993 letter, the NRC requested PECo to notify them when the provisions of the amendments had been fully implemented.
This letter is to inform you that the provisions of amendments 175 and 178 were fully implemented on May 28, 1993.
