Unit 1 Docket No. 50-416 License No. NPF-29 Simulator Certification in Accordance With 10CFR55.45 GNRO-91/00051 Gentlemen:
This submittal contains the certification of the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station (GGNS) simulation facility in accordance with the requirements of-10CFR55.45(b)(5). Attached are a completed NRC Form 474 and a supplemental report containing:
a description of the GGNS simulation facility, exceptions to ANSI /ANS-3.5-1985, test abstracts for' completed performance testa, and a testis,g schedule for future performance testing._
Recertification and a description of changes te a performance testing-plan are not applicable to this-original certification.
Also in accordance with 10CFR55.45(b)(5), Entergy Operations will; submit L a rocertification report for the GGNS simulation facility approximately four years from this date. This report shall contain the description'of-the previous four years of performance _ tests, any uncorrected performance test failures with a schedule for correcting anyt such: failures, a schedule for the next.four years of. planned performance tests, and a, description of the planned _ tests if different from those completed in-the preceding four years.
