In the Matter of Tennessee Valley Authority (Sequoych Nuclear Plant Units 1 and 2), Docket Nos. 50-327-OLA and 50-328-OLA (Technical Specification Changes), ASLBP No. 91-635-07-OLA Dear Judge Bloc.
This is to confirm my conversation-with you on the afternoon of February 25, 1991-Because the February 6,1991, letter to the Nuclear Regislatory Coumission from the petitioner, James T.
Springfiel3, had not been served on TVA, you agreed to grant TVA until'Marcr. 12.-1991, to file its answer to the petitioner's request.. Though I was thereafter unable to speak personally with Mr. Spr'ntfield about my conversation with you, I spoke with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers-(IBEW) International Representative, Jerry Duncan, vho indicated that although Mr. Springfield was out of town he would pass the information about the due date to Mr. Springfield upon his return.
I have since spoken with Mr. Springfield's wife and have phen her the same information.
Enclosed is.a copy of the Tennessee Valley Autnority's notice of appearance.in the above-captioned proceeding.
The origi si and two_ noles are being provided to the Secretary of the' Commission.
Service of the notice has been etfected as evidenced by the attached certificate of service.
