-The! Commission was briefed by the NRC staff on the Reactor Operator-Roqual'ification Program.

Commissioner Curtiss requested the staff to describe the controls that have been~ established to? limit the scope'of questioning during examinations to the core knowledge needed for safe 4
' operator performance.
Commissioner Remick requested that the staff provide a break-out of the: pass / fail rate of RO's and SRO's.

The Commission requested that the staff continue to provide the Commission with semi-annual reports on the status of the requalification program until the staff is satisfied with the stability of the program.
