Contract No. NRC-02-88-005 Modification No. 38 Page 2 of 3 The purpose of this modification is to:
(1) revise the FIN Numbers for the Waste Solidification System (WSS) Operations Plan and the Licensing Support System (LSS) Operations Plan to delete the last digit which represent fiscal year funds, (2) provide incremental funding in the amount of $3,200,000.00 for the High-level Waste (HLW) Operations Plan, $1,585,000.00 for the Research Project Plans, and $59,000.00 for the LSS Operations Plan and (3) increase the amount authortred for the HLW Operations Plan by $3,200,000.00, the Research Project Plans by $1,585,000 00, the LS$ Operations Plan by
$59,000.00, and the WSS Operations Plan by $50,000.00.
The following changes are hereby made:
1.
Revise the following FIN Numbers wherever stated in the contract as follows:

Notwithstanding the award fee as referenced above, the actual award fee pool will be as stated in the award fee blan.
The award fee plan will reflect the actual award fee pool br. sed on cumulative estimated costs for performanco nf.'pproved operations plans.
