'sBJECT:- -INSERVICE TESTING (IST) FROGRAM FOR PUMPS AND VALVES WATERFORD STEAM ELECTRIC STATION, UNIT NO. 3, ENTERGY OPERATIONS,(TAC NO. 69819 INC. - CHANGE 1 (RELIEF PEQUESTS 2.1.5 AND 3.1.56) TO REVISION 6 This letter provides tne results of the staff's review of Revision 6, Change 1 to the Waterford Steam Electric Station, Unit No. - *.irvice testing program for pumps and valves. Louisiana Power and Light Company (previcus licensee) originally submitted the relief request in a letter dated August 21, 1989. On January 10, 1991,) additional information was submitted by Entergy Operations, Inc.
(currentlicensee withdrawing relief request 2.1.4, and revising relief requests 2.1.5, and 3.1.56.
The relief requests were revised to address NRC concerns discussed with the licensee on August 16, and November 6, 1990.
We have determined that Change 1 to Revision 6 is acceptable for implementation.
We have also determined that the testing requirements for which the relief request is being granted, (1) would result in undue hardship without a compen.
