Inspection Nos. 50-334/90-24; 50-412/90-24
This refers to the routine inspection conducted by Messrs. P. Patnaik and
H. J. Kaplan of this office from Decemuer 3 through December 6,1990, at the
Beaver Valley Power Station, Units 1 and 2 in Shippingport, Pennsylvania.
Messrs. P. Patnaik and Kaplan discussed the results with Mr. T. P. Hoonan of
your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
This inspection war directed at activities related to inservice inspection,
steam generator eddy current testing and water chemistry control. Areas
examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I Report that
is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the inspection consisted
of selected examination of procedures and representative records, interviews
with personnel, and observations by the inspector. Within the scope of this
inspection, no violations were observed.
