Enclosed is a Rescission of License Amendment. This rescission removes Amendment No. 36 to your License flo. 13-00694-03 which incorporated commitments made to satisfy the decomissioning rule.
Upon further legal review, the NRC determined this amendment to be redundant and unnecessary, and therefore, has issued this rescission.
This matter was discussed between Thomas A. Schumacher, R.S.0. and Ms. Patricia Vacherlon of my staff on flovember 15, 1990. We regret any inconvenience this may have caused.

Pursuant to 10 C.F.R.: 530.35 (the: decommissioning-rule), the Licensee csent a _ letter dated July P7,1990 to.the NRC in which the Licensee made -
- ! commitments to satisfy the decomissioning rule.
In accordance with the f NRC staff's routine practice _ of incorporating -licensee commitments into 3

1 111 Amendment No. 36, however, incorporates into the License reovirements that are already reauired by the decommissioning rule, and therefore, that amendment is redundant and unnecessary.
In view of the above, the NRC has determined to rescind Amendment No. 36 to the Licerse.
IV Accordingly, Amendment No. 36 to the License is hereby RESCIFDED, EFFECTIVE 1FtiEDIATELY, and the License in effect for the Licensee is that license in effect without issuance of Amendment No. 36.
