Mr. Steven A.
Va rga, Chief Operating Reactors Branch No. 1 Division of Licensing
Dear Mr. Varga:
In accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.54(p), Con Edison hereby submits five copies of Enclosure I to this letter which contains a revised Indian Point Units 1 and 2 Safeguards Contingency Plan, Chapters 1 thru 4.
This revised version provides for a current Indian Point 1 and 2 site management organization as well as two additional events, Event 4E and Event 12.
Enclosure I supersedes our previous submittals of the Indian Point Units 1 and 2 Safeguards Contingency Plan.
Implementing procedures for this plan, _hapter 5,
are maintained onsite and are not included with this submittal.
Post-implementation review of Enclosure I
revealed certain minor typographical errors which did not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the aforementioned safeguards contingency plan.
The errors consisted of misplaced marginal change bars, placement of the words " safeguards inforriation" both on top and bottom of each page and the exclusion of the appropriate revision date placed on those pages containing revisions.
Correction of these minor errors were effected and the revised pages reissued.
It is these revised pages that appear in Enclosure I to this letter.
In our judgement changes contained herein do not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the aforementioned safeguards contingency plan.
