DUANE ARNOLD ENERGY CENTER - PARTIAL EXEMPTION FROM RECORD RETENTION REQUIREMENTS (EPID L-2020-LLE-0007)
Dear Mr. Moul:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has granted the enclosed partial exemption from the recordkeeping requirements of Sections 50.71(c) and 50.59(d)(3) of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) and 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix B, Criterion XVII as requested in your letter dated January 16, 2020. The partial exemption granted will eliminate the requirements to maintain records that will no longer be necessary once Duane Arnold Energy Center permanently shuts down and submits its certification of permanent fuel removal in accordance with 10 CFR 50.82(a)(1).
