Ti1I-2 Radiological Field Operations Training Program By letter dated April 23, 1982, GPU fiuclear submitted a sumary of the TilI-2 Radiological Field Operations Training Program used to train Radiological Control Forecen and Technicians. This program was submitted in accordance with proposed Technical Specification 6.3.2 as an alternative to meeting the standards of AflSI-N 18.-1971. He have reviewed your program and find it acceptable subject to the incorporation of certain experience requirements for Radiological Control Foremen and Technicians. The experience requirements are delineated ia the enclosed Safety Evaluatten. Per conversation with fir. J.
Hildebrand of your staff, GPU Huclear agreed to incorporate the specified experience requirements for Radiological Control Foremen and Technicians within the training and qualification program.
The NRC on-site staff will continue to review the implementation of the THI-2 Radiological Field Operations Training Program to assure that the reconuendations of the NRC Special Panel (NUREG-0540), and the T111-2 management plan comitments continue to be incorporated in the traininn program.
