This " letter of assurance" is intended to replace my letters of September 15 and October 13, 1982 regarding the export license XSNf4 01952 concerning the export from Westinghouse Electric Corporation, Pittsburgh of 220 grams U containing 10 grams U 235 to AB ASEA-AT0li, Vssteras, Sweden for com-paratory laboratory tests. I have been informed by the fluclear Regulatory Commission that XSNii 01952 expired at the end of 1982 before this delivery had taken place and that XSilli 0195' now has been replaced by XSilli 02008. c I can assure you that th7 above-mentioned material will be subject to all terms and conditions of the US-Swedish Agreement of co-operation regarding civil uses of atomic energy. AB ASEA-ATOI4 is authorized to receive and possess the material. I would appreciate it if the Embassy could be provided with a copy of the export license once it has been approved.
