12 Ot 5C a:PT.ON Of AMt NDMIN1/ MODiHC AllON The purpose of this Modification No. Six (6) is to increase the total contract ceiling price by $74,000.00, from $140,328.00 to $214,328.00.

Now therefore, the following changes are made:

1)

Article IV - Compensation for Services, paragraph "A." is hereby modified to read as follo~ws:

"A.

Except as provided in Article V " Ceilings" paragraph B. below, in full and complete payment for services rendered to the Commission on any task-order placed under this contract, including profit and all items or kinds of expenses related directly or indirectly to performance of such task order, the contractor shall be compensated for its services hereunder upon the basis of hourly charges for stated classifications of its personnel for time actually spent by each such employee or consultant in performance of the services rendered under the contract according to the following schedule:

Article IV - Compensation for Services, paragraph "B." is hereby modified -

to read as follows:

"B.

The ceiling price to the Government for performance of_the work specified in Article I herein shall not exceed $214,328.00."

3)

Article IV - Compensation for Services, paragraph "C." is hereby modified to read as follows:

"C.

Under the terms of this Labor-Hour Contract, the contractor _ agrees that the work to be performed under Article I shall: be accomplished within the total ceiling number of hours (3,926 hours0.0107 days <br />0.257 hours <br />0.00153 weeks <br />3.52343e-4 months <br />) unless'other--

wise modified by the Contracting Officer.

The Contractor may vary.

Article IV - Compensation for Services, paragraph

E" last paragraph is hereby modified to read as follows:

"While the contractor shall be paid for each man-hour of performance,.

travel, telephone and computer costs as provided for in paragraphs 1, 2, and 3 above, it is understood and agreed upon that-the tJtal amount to be paid 'to the contractor shall not exceed the ceiling amount of $214,328.00 set forth in paragraph B."

In summary, this Modification No. Six (6) accomplishes the following:

1.

Modifies Article IV, paragraph "A.'" by:

(a) increasing the estimated-ceiling hours for the "Hydrogeologist" by 885~ hours from 640 to 1,525 hours0.00608 days <br />0.146 hours <br />8.680556e-4 weeks <br />1.997625e-4 months <br />; (b) increasing the total estimated amount for the "Hydrogeologist" by $52,000.00 from $37,600.00 to $87,600.00; (c) increasing the estimated ceiling hours for the " Geological Engineer" by 374 hours0.00433 days <br />0.104 hours <br />6.183862e-4 weeks <br />1.42307e-4 months <br /> from 371 to 745 hours0.00862 days <br />0.207 hours <br />0.00123 weeks <br />2.834725e-4 months <br />; (d) increasing the total estimated amount for the " Geological Engineer" by $22,000.00 from $21,796.00 to $43,796.00, thereby increasing the total _ estimated for labor _ hours by 1,259 hours0.003 days <br />0.0719 hours <br />4.282407e-4 weeks <br />9.85495e-5 months <br /> from 2,667 to 3,926 hours0.0107 days <br />0.257 hours <br />0.00153 weeks <br />3.52343e-4 months <br />, and increasing the total estimated labor-costs by $74,000.00 from $83,168.00 to $157,328.00.

Increases the cieling price of the contract hy $74,000.00 from

$140,328.00 to $214,328.00.

Increases the total ceiling number of labor hours by 1,259 from-2,336 to 3,926 hours0.0107 days <br />0.257 hours <br />0.00153 weeks <br />3.52343e-4 months <br /> under Article IV, paragraph "C".

4.

Modifies the last paragraph of Article IV, paragraph "E" to reflect.

a new ceiling amoant of $214,328.00.

The above changes result in an 1 : rease to the total contract amount of' of $74,000.00, thereby increasirg the total amount of. the contract from

$140,328.00 to $214,328.00.
