7590-01 UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION DOCKET NO. 50-275 PACIFIC GAS AND ELECTRIC COMPANY NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF-AMENDNENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE The U. 5. Nuclear Regulatory ConMission (the Comission) has issued Amendment Mo. 3 to Facility Operatinq License No. DPP-76 issued to the Pacific Gas and Electric Company (the licensee), for Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant, Unit No.1 (the facility) located-in San Luis Obispo County, California.
The amendment is effective as of the date of issuance.
The omendment authorizes relief from specific technical specifications i
for a period of 120 days to allow for the novenent of loads in excess of 2500 pounds in order to make certain nodifications in the Fuel Handling Building.
The application for the amendment complies with the standards and require-ments of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Connission's requiations.
The Comission has made appropriate findings as required by the Act and the Connission's regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license anendment.
Prior public notice of this amendment was not required i
since this anendment does not involve a significant hazards consideration.
l The Connission has determined that the issuance of this anendment will not result in any siqnificant environnental impact and that pursuant to 10 CFR 51.5 (d)(4), an environnental impact statenent or negative declaration and environmental inpact appraisal need not be prepared in connection with issuance of this 8301260035 830206 yDRADOCK 05000275 anendment.
