Response to ACRS's Letter of November 4, 2019, on the Safety Evaluation of ANP-10346P, Revision 0
Dear Chairman Riccardella:
During the 667th meeting of the Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards (ACRS or the Committee),
held on October 2-4, 2019, the ACRS reviewed topical report ANP-10346P, Revision 0, ATWS-I Analysis Methodology for BWRs Using RAMONA-FA, and the associated final safety evaluation (SE) prepared by the staff.
In a letter to Margaret M. Doane dated November 4, 2019, the Committee provided its conclusion and recommendation that the final SE should be issued. The NRC staff appreciates the Committees review and the productive dialogue during the meeting.
