January 17, 1983 ORDER (Modifying Schedules for Hearings and Filing Testimony)
On January 13, 1983, Ms. Mary Sinclair telephoned the Board Chairman and requested that the hearings scheduled for March 1-4, 1983 (see our Order dated January 7, 1983) be changed to another week. Having tele-phoned various interested parties and ascertained that there was no objection, we have granted Ms. Sinclair's request and rescheduled those hearings for March 8-11, 1983. The filing date for certain testimony which may be heard during that week is postponed from February 14 to February 18, 1983 (hand delivery at hearing still preferred).
On January 14, 1983, the Applicant asked by telephone for a one week extension (to January 24, 1983) in the filing date for a portion of its testimony scheduled to be filed on January 17, 1983.
It advised that no party had any objection, although the Staff sought a similar extension (to February 7, 1983) of its January 31, 1983 filing date for 8301190194 830117 PDR ADOCK 05000329 9

the portion of its testimony responsive to the Applicant's testimony which is to be filcd on January 24, 1983. Those requests are granted.
Because of the proximity of the Staff's February 7 filing date to the commencement of the hearings on February 14, 1983, the Staff is requested to utilize expedited mail service for that portion of its testimony.
Hearings during the week of March 8-11, 1983 will oe held at the Quality Inn Cettral (formerly Ramada Inn Central), 1815 S. Saginaw Road, Midland, Michigan.
In all other respects, our scheduling order of January 7, 1983 remains in effect.
