OELD The Comission has issued Amendment No. 7 to Facility Operating License No. R-61 for the open pool research reactor at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in response to your application dated July 16, 1979, as supple-mented by filings dated July 20, 1979, September 27, 1979, October 26, 1979, flay 22,1980, June 12,1980, November 20, 1980, J anuary 19, 1981,

This amendment renews the operating license for twenty years from the date of issuance.
It is Nuclear Regulatory Comission policy to restate the license in its entirety on the occasion of a license renewal. Therefore, your presently approved license has been restated incorporating all the changes made since the original license was issued.
Enclosed are copies of the Notice of Issuance / Negative Declaration that is being sent to the Federal Register for publication, Safety Evaluation Report, and Environmental Impact Appraisal.
