Operating License No. DPR-50 Docket No. 50-289 Fire Protection - Appendix R This letter transmits the following documents which were requested at the uPU Nuclear and NRC Staff Meeting on TMI-l compliance with 10 CFR 50 Appendix R on November 5, 1982.

Attachment 1 A tabular listing of associated circuits of the common enclosure type. The safe shutdown circuit and its function is identified on the first page of each primary circuit listing. The listing for each safe shutdown (primary) circuit identifies those circuits which are routed through the relay and

control rooms and share a common enclosure with a primary circuit elsewhere in the plant.

Attachment 2 A tabular listing of both times required and times available to operate safe shutdown valves for fires in the various fire area / zones of the plant.

Mr. D. G. Eisenhut 5211-82-281 R modifications. Specifically, our request asked that those modifications which do not require plant shutdown or prior NRC approval be granted schedular exemption to be compieted no later t han the end of Cycle 6 refueling outage.

Schedules shawn are contingent upon equipment vendor ability to meet estimated delivery. We trust that the abcve stated information will assist your review of our technical and schedular exemption requests.
