50-260 50-296 In my July 16, 1981 letter to you on Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant we stated our position on NUREG-0737, Item II.K.3 25, "Effect of Loas of AC Power on Pump Seals." Subsequent to this letter, the BWR Owners' Group (BWROG) made two supplemental submittals to NRC on this subject (September 2, 1982 from T. J. Dente to D. B. Vassallo and September 21, 1981 from T. J. Dente to D. G. Eisenhut). The purpose of this letter is to inform you that TVA participated in the BWROG efforts on this item and that both of the aforementioned BWROG submittals are applicable to Browns Ferry.
It is our understanding that this letter fully resolves NUREG-0737, Item II.K.3.25 for Browns Ferry.
