The first paper, Mr. Chairman, is 8

SECY-82-410, the NRCC and Sierra Club's petition to the g

Commission to exercisa their inherent supervisory 10 authority to delineate the scope of the LWA proceedings 11 for the Clinch River 3reeder.

12 In this paper the Commission is asked to 13 approve a proposed ordar that denies the petition to 14 delineate that scope.

'The Chairman, Commissioner Ahearne, 15 16 Commissioner Roberts and Commissioner Asselstine have voted to approve the order with a modification by 97 Commissioner Ahearne.

Commissioner Gilinsky has voted 18 19 te disapprove it.

We put the matter on the schedule after the 3

Federal Registar notice had already gone out.

it appears on other things, I do think we need to vote 5

to hold on short notice.

SECY-82-440 is the immediate 10 effectiveness decision regarding the Licensing Soard 11 decision in the Summer operating license proceeding in 12 chich the Commission is being asked to approve a 13 proposed order which makes the Board's decision in the 14 Summer CL proceeding effective.

15 The Chairman, Commissioners Ahearne, Roberts 16 and Asselstine have voted to approve the order.

17 Commission Gilinsky has abstained.

Commissioners 18 Absarne, Asselstina and Gilinsky have requested the 1g staff to provide certain detailed information regarding 20 clad weld allegations as part of the staff's briefing on 21 the uncontsstsc issues.
