GESTAR II ADMINISTRATIVE AMENDMENTS AND WATERSIDE CORROSION Representatives of the General Electric Company met with the NRC staff on 6
September 9,1982. General Electric made two presentations.
The first presentation was proprietary and dealt with waterside corrosion.
- discusses the highlights of the GE presentation and includes the viewgraphs used by General Electric.
The second presentation dealt principally with the proposed amendment number S to the GESTAR II licensing topical report NEDE-240ll-P-4 entitled
" General Electric Standard Application for Reactor Fuel". Each of the elements comprising the amendment were discussed. NRC voiced considerable concern about the Barrier Fuel Design item. The remainder items were generally discussed briefly. is the viewgraphs used in this presentation. General Electric also presented the development and current status of the administrative amendment procedure being used for updating the GESTAR licensing topical report. Enclosure 3 is the viewgraphs used in that presentation. is the attendees at the meeting.
