We have reviewed the referenced letter and understand that your comments on the Emergency Classification Scheme are . based on Revision 3 to the subject plan.

It should be noted that we submitted Revision 4 to the Waterford 3 Emergency Plan in June,1982 which revised the Emergency Action Levels EALs) in Table 4-1. We have also submitted draf t Emergency Plan

. Implementing Procedures in June,1982. In order t'o completely review the revised f.ALs, one should review Table 4-1 (Revision 4) and EP-1-001 (Revision 0).

We'vould also like to inform you that the emergency plan exercise for ,

l NRC and FEMA evaluation that was scheduled for August,1982 has been .'

postponed until later on this year. A revised emergency planning schedule should be complete within the next several weeks and we will provide you with the infornation as soon as it is available.

October 13, 1982 Site Drill involving the Control Room, Technical Support Center, Operations Support Center, and the Emergency Operations Facility.

November 17, 1982 Combined Drill for on and off-site organizations.

On-site participants are the Control Room Tech-nical Support Center, Operations Support Center, Emergency Operations Facility, and the Corporate Command Center. Limited participation from both Parishes (Tabletop).

December 13 1982 Site Drill involving the Control Room Technical Support Center, Operations Support Center, Emergency Operations Facility, and the Corporate Command Center.

January 10, 1983 NRC Emergency Preparedness Appraisal.

i February 23, 1983 Combined Drill for on and Off-Site Organizations.

On-site participants are the Control Room, Tech-nical Support Center, Operations Support Center, l Emergency Operations Facility, and the Corporate Command Center. Full participation by Off-Site Organizations, St. Charles Parish, St. John the Baptist Parish, Lohisiana Nuclear Energy Division, and the Louisiana Office of Emergency Preparedness.

March 16, 1983 Combined Drill for on and Off-Site Organizations.

Same participants as February 23, 1983 drill.
