Pc;e 2 ef 2 ~ ~* flow, therefore, the parties hereto agree as follows: Article 1. The Contractor hereby unconditionally waives any claim against the Government by reason of the termination of the contract and releases it from any and all obligations arising under the contract or by reason of its termination; and the Government agrees that all obligations arising under the contract or by reason of its termination, shall be deemed to be concluded, except as provided for under,th'e following Article 2. Article 2. -The Contractor has received the sum of $40,037.00 on account of work and services performed, or articles delivered under the contract prior to the effective date of termination. The Contractor and Government hereby agree that the additional sum of $374.00 will be paid the Contractor on account of work and services performed or articles delivered under the contract prior to the effective date'of termination. Therefore, the sum of $40,411.00 represents the funds expended f rom the total contract amount of $95,103.00, of which the sum of 554,692.00 represents the unliquidated balance and is hereby denbligated from the contract.
