The subject Inspection Report (82-08) provided the results of an inspection of the Preoperational Testing Program. This letter provides the status of actions taken pn the three open items identified in the inspection report.
Open Item 330/82-08-01: Review of Recent Preoperational Test Problems The summary of recent preoperational test problems encountered at other plants is currently being reviewed by our Technical Department staff.
The review is scheduled to be complete by July 21, 1982. Any additional administrative controls, if required, will be implemented after the review is completed.
Open Item 330/82-08-02:
Chapter 14 FSAR Change We have reviewed Chapter 14 of the FSAR and compared it to the Testing Program Manual and recent licensing commitments. The required changes in Chapter 14 were submitted on June 7, 1982 for inclusion in the next revision to the FSAR. This completed our action on this open item.

'Open Item 330/82-08-03: Review ~ of ' Comments on ' the Testing ~ Program Manual The inspector's comments on the wording and content of selected Testing Program Manual-(TPM) Procedures have been reviewed. The appropriate revisions to the TPM. Procedures are now being prepared to incorporate the necessary changes.
